To everyone who is reading: thank you for being here. I will start right off with a quote from the book “The Ultimate Coach” that I strongly recommend that starts like this:
“Some things speak to your mind
Some things speak to your heart
Some things speak to your soul.
And some things speak into your spirit.
And when something is speaking into your spirit, your mind can not comprehend what it is. Your heart can only feel it, and your soul allows it, but it is your spirit that responds.”
So there is this wisdom and guidance that I talk about in all my posts and almost everything I share that speaks to us even when we think that it’s not there and we can not hear it.
I used to think about it as a miracle that happens once in a while. Once in a while I know what to do, once in a while I follow it, once in a while it’s clear and sometimes it’s even exactly what I want to hear.
So what about the rest of the time? What is happening when I don’t listen, when I feel lost? It took me time to understand and see and this is the insight that I want to share with you:
there is no “rest of the time”
Our wisdom is guiding us all the way and there are times when what we need is for something to speak to our mind. And there will be times when we have the heart so open that we listen with our heart or our soul. And the more we are committed to a journey, the more we receive with our whole spirit.
There is no magic formula that works all the time for all humans. But that doesn’t mean that you should stop looking, look with the awareness that there will be along the way random thoughts that you just used for too long, look with the awareness that where you are right now is the exact place where you need to be.
And that doesn’t mean that you will stay there for the rest of your life, if you decide so. Because there is great power in making a decision which might not guarantee an outcome at the end of the day but it does bring motion, it does put you on the road. And if you allow me to point to a direction, I would point towards the road of discovery, discovery of yourself and what you are capable of doing, what you are capable of being for yourself and others.
These were just a couple of reminders that wanted to be expressed in a way so I want to make this officially, the Reminder week.
And I truly encourage you to remind yourself of something. But not like a usual reminder, something you thought before and you forgot but more like a re-mind in the sense of reset, something new that comes to your mind that feels like you need in this moment.
What would be the kindest thing that you could put in your mind in this moment? And notice where it goes: to your mind, your heart, your soul, or straight into the wholeness of your spirit?
I will talk to you next time. Until then, do us all a favour and let your inner glamour shine.
